Winding staircases, old fireplaces, rooms that started out as barns sometime during the 1700s - one is a den for the young people... our b&b offers you proper, authentic France. Adjoining first floor rooms, bathed in sunlight, 1 double and 1 family room look out over the village square and church. Comfy beds and lovely linens ensure a restful night. These rooms may be let separately and share a huge bathroom with claw foot tub, separate shower and dressing room.
We have a cot and high chair, please tell us about anything else you need for your baby; books, music and film library, toys and games. Enjoy tasty breakfasts and informal suppers late into the evening on the large sunny terrace. A rural idyll, you may have to speak up to be heard above the cow bells as the cattle meander up and down the hillside; the owl that has residence in the barn opposite will keep vigil as it swoops down the lane .
Get close to nature in this completely unspoilt region of the Languedoc - walking, cycling, mountain biking, bird watching, all from the back door, river and lake swimming, horse riding, sandy beaches and water sports at Lac Montbel (5km). The GR7, a path to Spain leads from the back door. A network of tracks lead from the village through historic towns and villages. This is Tour de France country - it passes through in July - Mountain cols provide for those who prefer something a bit more challenging. We are cyclist friendly and have 2 bikes and maps to lend, further bike hire locally.

White-water rafting, karting, downhill and cross-country skiing all within an easy drive.
Cathar towns of Mirepoix Puivert, Montsegur and Fanjeaux all closeby. Our nearest town is medieval Chalabre (3km) for the boulangerie, bars and restaurants.
